भारतीय रेलवे (Indian Railway) ने आज ही के दिन यानी 20 फरवरी 1986 को कंप्यूटर से रेलवे टिकट आरक्षण प्रणाली की शुरुआत की थी. इससे पहले टिकट बुकिंग काउंटर में रेलवे क्लर्क हुआ करते थे.
