दंगों के वक्त दंगाइयों ने फैजल फारुकी के राजधानी स्कूल की छत को अपने बेस के तौर पर इस्तेमाल किया था. स्कूल की छत से पुलिस ने लोहे की बड़ी गुलेल भी जब्त की थी.
